There are so many things going on with this dude that I don’t even know where to begin.
Hubertus von Hohenlohe is a prince of a “former principality in what is now Germany.”
Next month he will compete in his sixth Olympics as a slalom skier. He has already participated in the 1984, 1988, 1992, 1994, and 2010 Games.
At 55, Prince Hubertus is the second oldest Olympian ever.
“It’s not quite ridiculous but it is getting to be right on the edge,” he told NBC when asked about being an elite athlete in his mid-50s.
Interestingly enough, Prince Hubertus represents Mexico — known for its sandy beaches — at the Olympics. He was born in Mexico and lived there for four years before moving to Europe.
If you are not wowed yet, don’t forget he somehow finds time to be a photographer, businessman, and pop singer.
The icing on the cake? He will sport a mariachi-themed ski suit in Sochi.

(Thanks to NBC for bringing the many wonders of Prince Hubertus to our attention.)
