Fan defaces Canadian snow flag on rink. UPDATE: No he didn’t

- February 21st, 2014

Here’s a little something to get you riled up for today’s semifinal men’s hockey game between Canada and the U.S. at the Sochi Olympics (noon EST).

This aggression will not stand, man.

UPDATE: Turns out it’s a dad from Toronto who just made a cool looking video. No insult intended. We can put the maple syrup cannons back in the shed.

Here’s video of him making the Canadian flag in his backyard rink.

How sad and pathetic is that? Everyone want’s to win, but have some class.

The display yesterday of the U.S.A. Women’s attitude when they got whipped by Canada was a firm example of their lack of sportsmanship that the Olympics is all about. Let’s hope when the Men get beat today we don’t have a bunch of sniveling children on camera. For a country of NO manners – only BIG talk, their display of lack of manners upon their entrance to the Olympic Parade – when they shoved ahead of the Russian Ladies that were heading the entourage showed very poor upbringing. They were the only country that displayed POOR manners. Let’s hope that Canada will rub off on them and teach them a little CLASS.

That’s actually kind of funny. I especially enjoyed how carefully he worked out where the stars should go. “Whoops, better fix that.”

Actually, that was very well done. If the US woman’s applied that much detail and attention to their playing, as this person did converting the flag, they might have won Gold!

Actually he isn’t really defacing it when he in fact made the Canadian flag in the first place.

In addition he lives in Toronto.

Can you believe the American women’s hockey team had a Canadian Flag on the floor of their dressing room that everyone was walking on with their skates? Imagine if it was an American Flag? They would’ve called in an Air Strike. Team Canada’s captain Wickenheiser made a great comment, asking if the Americans would like them to sign that flag for them, lol. Im embarrassed for the Americans. Feel sorry for their families.

Typical USA behaviour. All big mouths until they have to eat some
humble pie. Then they cry like little babies; quivering lips and stunned
looks like someone stole their pablum! I dont get it! Nor do I want to.
Americans are from a different planet and they should return there.

Hey Andrew!!! That thing with the USA disrespecting our flag took place 12 years ago. It was certainly a demonstration of America’s continuing disrespect for anything not American, and Lord knows there are myriad examples, like what they did this year at the opening ceremonies, but let’s show some class of our own, that which the USA can’t possibly understand, and just put it behind us. We are FOUR-TIME CONSECUTIVE Gold medal winners. And that is something they will never be. And don’t you think that those silver medals hurt them more than any words here can?
