Steve’s biography

The London Games will be Steve Buffery’s ninth Olympics, starting at the 1992 Albertville Winter Games. Highlights include covering Donovan Bailey’s gold-medal run in the 100-metres at the 1996 Atlanta Games and, having been a wrestler (of sorts) himself, Daniel Igali’s gold medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. You might remember him as the “I am standing” guy at the Jamie Sale-David Pelletier gold-medal press conference during the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics.
