It seems that the easiest way to get the latest news on X-Men: Days of Future Past is by following Bryan Singer’s Twitter account.
The director, who is helming the sequel to 2011′s X-Men: First Class, has tweeted casting announcements heralding the return of original trilogy stars Patrick Stewart (Charles Xavier), Ian McKellen (Magneto), Ellen Page (Kitty Pryde), Anna Paquin (Rogue), as well the addition of Game of Thrones’ Peter Dinklage to the cast.
Well, in keeping with the tradition, Singer has tweeted a photo yesterday of Professor X’s wheelchair. Actually, make that two wheelchairs.
Since Days of Future Past involves time travel, we will be seeing both Stewart’s Xavier and James McAvoy’s ’60s incarnation of Professor X in the same film.
The one on the left looks a lot more futuristic to me.
