Paul Walker promises ‘one more funeral’ in leaked Fast And Furious 7 scene

- December 2nd, 2013

You’ll want to watch this Fast & Furious 7 clip while you can.

‘Leaked’ footage from the upcoming Blu-ray release of Fast & Furious 6 (out Dec. 10) shows a scene from Fast 7 where characters Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker), Tyrese Gibson (Roman Pearce) and Ludacris (Tej Parker) attend the funeral of Han Seoul-Oh (Sung Kang).

Han was killed in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, but he resurfaced in Fast & Furious, Fast 5, and Fast & Furious 6. His death scene from Tokyo Drift was inserted at the end of Fast 6, and we see that he was murdered by Ian Shaw (Jason Statham), the brother of Owen Shaw (Luke Evans) – the sixth film’s main villain.

With more sequels planned, it was a pretty good assumption that the series would eventually link back to Tokyo Drift, the one film in the series that didn’t utilize the main stars Brian O’Conner and Dominic Toretto (though he did have a cameo).

In the leaked scene, Dom lays a photo of Han’s girlfriend, Gisele Yashar (Gal Gadot), who also died in Fast 6.

“You know he’s out there watching,” Ludacris’ character says.

“I hope so,” Walker’s O’Conner replies. “It means he’s close.”

“Promise me, Brian, no more more funerals,” says Roman Pearce.

“Just one more,” O’Conner says as Ian Shaw’s Aston Martin drives slowly through the cemetery.

The clip ends with the tagline: Fast & Furious 7 – In theatres summer 2014.

The Hollywood Reporter and Variety are reporting that Fast 7 will be delayed, but the film will be released.

It’s unclear whether it will meet its targeted July 11, 2014, release date, or how director James Wan will rework the storyline, which included several more key scenes for O’Conner.

Given the way he died, his onscreen death will need to be handled in a delicate manner.

In an interview with Collider, Walker had revealed Universal’s desire for Fast & Furious 8, 9 and 10. Those plans will need to be revised, or scrapped altogether.

Below is what may have been one of the last photos of Paul Walker, as well as an Instagram message from Tyrese Gibson.

I know too soon too soon but…perhaps he was just foreshadowing his own death this past weekend, like a reverse Andy Kauffman thing.

    R.I.P Paul Walker… :’(
I suggest bollywood actor Ranbeer Hooda for a role
Of Brian because he is a good actor and his face is similar with
    Walker’s Face…
And there is another stylish and cool actor Krhitik Roshan for that superb Role in
    Fast and Furious 7….

Coolest man ever. Warmest, giving and caring heart. R.I.P. Your blue eyes and beautiful smile will always be remembered. Condolences to Paul Walker’s families, friends and Fast & Furious team. A suggest to Mr. director, may be bad accident happened to Brian that needed for face re-construction (new actor, doesn’t really matter as long as same height 1.8m) and Mia and families as well as audience still live in Brian’s/ P.Walker actual faces in memory/ tribute…this is also as a disguised from Ian Shaw to protect their baby??? good luck!!

It was very sad news to hear about Paul Walker. He will truly be missed in Hollywood and his character in Fast and Furious. Fast and Furious will never be the same without him. To replace him would be a shame they should continue filming and have his character killed off. Rest in peace Paul. Your fans will always love you.

R.I.P. Paul Walker. My heart goes out to the fast and furious crew you were his family as much as his flesh and blood are. No one can ever replace him in fast and furious but you can’t just kill him off that’s disrespectful and would ruin the whole movie.he wasn’t just some character in a movie he was a real person and you people need to let his family and friends grieve it doesn’t matter that they’re famous they still deserve space. I can not believe you people not even giving them enough space to visit the crash site and cry for their loss!
