Wonder Woman first look at SDCC

- July 26th, 2014

The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trilogy is complete.

After waiting up to 14 hours in line to catch a glimpse of whatever director Zack Snyder had to offer during the Warner Bros. panel at Comic Con on Saturday, fans were not disappointed.

Surrounding the room with giant screens, Snyder not only presented a small teaser of Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill in action, facing off against each other in the pouring rain (clearly very influenced by Frank Miller’s Dark Knight series), but also gave the world their first look at Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman.

First thought that comes to mind? Xena. The Israeli actress looks more like an Amazon warrior than a celestial being, but all in all, the costume isn’t too shabby in the slightest.

Gadot tweeted, “I’m ready,” with a high resolution of the photo showed off in Hall H attached.

Like I mentioned in a previous post, Snyder is setting up Dawn of Justice as the anti-Marvel, very Christopher Nolan-like superhero film.

It’s going to be dark, it’s going to be grimy, and it’s going to be violent.

Let’s just hope it’s going to be good. Seriously Snyder, we haven’t forgotten about Man of Steel just yet.
