Final ‘Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2′ poster revealed

- October 2nd, 2012

It’s being billed as ‘The Epic Finale That Will Live Forever’ (or at least until the next YA fad comes along).

Hey, I was never a big fan of the movies, but after enduring four trips to the theatre (thanks to the wife), and faking my way through a few interviews (the look on Xavier Samuel’s face when I asked him if his character would be back for Breaking Dawn was priceless), I won’t lie, I am curious how it’ll all end.

The poster features Edward (Robert Pattinson), Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) running toward an unseen enemy (most likely the Volturi). It also shows new vampire additions, Benjamin (Rami Malek) and Garrett (Lee Pace).

But seriously, just how will Bella, Edward and Jacob deal with those crotchety Volturi? (who are no doubt pissed that there’s now a human/vampire child running around) Even if you’re not a Twi-hard, whether it’s a party or a night out with the boys, you’ve probably been in a situation where you’ve had to give your thoughts on how it’ll all turn out.

Or not.

In any case, take a look at the final poster and let us know what you think in the comments. Are you happy that it’s all (almost) over? Or are you holding out hope that Stephenie Meyer will hurry up and finish Midnight Sun.

‘Breaking Dawn – Part 2′ trailer arrives

- June 21st, 2012

If, like me, you are married/ dating/ romantically linked to a Twi-hard, then you know that this year marks the end of yearly sojourns in darkened theatres bookended by screaming teen gals.

After four movies, the gothic teen romance comes to an end in what appears to be the most action-packed film in the series. Finally, we get a glimpse of how werewolf Jacob (Taylor Lautner) will join forces with Edward, Bella (Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart)  and the rest of the Cullen vampire clan to battle the nefarious Volturi (personally, I was more interested when the evil Victoria was trying to rip Bella’s heart out in parts 2 and 3).

And although the collab looks like it will still be fraught with some tension – ‘There’s a lot of red eyes around here,’ Jacob quips in one scene – the trailer doesn’t address the awkwardness of Jacob imprinting on Bella’s daughter.

‘Um, yeah. Your mom and I made out, but it’s you who is really my soul mate.’

‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2′ opens in theaters Nov. 16. Take a look at the trailer and let us know what you think.
