Is it sweet – or just plain creepy?
Maybe it’s a little bit of both.
In this music video mash-up, made up of clips of Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood episodes, we hear children’s TV icon Fred Rogers like we’ve never heard him before: auto-tuned.
Surprisingly, “Garden of Your Mind” wasn’t created by some out-of-work, nostalgic 30-year-old, but by people at PBS, who worked with music masher John D. Boswell (aka: melodysheep) to create the surreal soundscape.
The network says this is the first in a series of videos for PBS icons it hopes will go viral.
Just please, PBS, don’t torture us with a “Barney & Friends” version.
