Green sex

- April 7th, 2010

I’m probably going into uncharted territory, but what the heck, it’s Wednesday.

You know how just about every facet of your life you can become more environmentally-conscious? The car you drive, the house you live in, your sex life.

Yes, I said sex life. I received an email from the good folks over at LifeStyles Condoms hyping up their new brand of environmentally-friendly condoms.

I was offered some samples to try out, but the idea of writing a condom review just makes my face turn red thinking about it.

If there are any readers out there who want to try them out and write a review, let me know and I can hook you up. (With the condoms, the partner thing you will have to take care of on your own).

From the press release:

Consumers are very cautious about what they put in their bodies, preferring all-natural and organic foods, beauty products, and even bed sheets. But do women know what they’re putting… down there?

For consumers interested in “going green” in the more personal aspects of their lives, LifeStyles Condoms is offering two products tailored for the environmentally-conscious — the LifeStyles SKYN Condom and LifeStyles Natural Desire Lubricant.</i>

LifeStyles SKYN Condoms are made from a synthetic material called polyisoprene. Polyisoprene is not a plastic, but a synthetic latex that is designed chemically to mimic natural rubber latex, but because of its chemical make-up, is more consistent in quality and control than natural rubber latex. Polyisoprene has no latex proteins and is safe for those with latex allergies, but it is also a stretchy and more comfortable fit material than polyurethane.

Natural Desire is dermatologist-tested and made with 99% natural ingredients. Formulated for a smooth, long-lasting and silky sensation, Natural Desire is paraben and fragrance free, pH Balanced, and latex compatible.

Sorry I’ve been away so much the past few months. Busy with work and other stuff. Hope to get back to it on a regular basis, at the very least a few times a week.

Fish consumption

I like fish, but unfortunately the fish I usually eat comes from halfway across the world instead of fish just miles from my house. Sure, I eat it a little while, but not often due to health concerns.

Fish consumption advisories of Great Lakes fish have been around my whole life. It
