Prince Harry could be shipping out for military duty – but first, he’s enjoying some time in Vegas.

The Daily Mail reports the prince was spotted in Sin City recently for a private holiday.

Maybe this is his last chance to kick back and party before he heads back to work. And he certainly seems to be enjoying it – photos show him hanging by the pool, checking out bikini-clad ladies and smiling with friends.

After a very successful Diamond Jubilee visit to Jamaica, Belize, the Bahamas and Brazil, then enjoying many Olympic events (he might have actually been the most seen member of the royal family at the Games – including making a visit to Canada House), it will soon be time for Harry to get back to his military duties.

It was announced earlier this year that Prince Harry would be returning to Afghanistan. No date was given – most likely because no one really wants people to know when the prince will be in the country for security reasons.

In November, Harry was in the States for Apache helicopter training and that training wasn’t just for fun – the Telegraph reported in February it was so Harry could return to the front lines as an Apache attack helicopter pilot.

He has been described as a natural pilot and ranks in the top of his class. Earlier this year, he was also awarded the best co-pilot gunner of his class.

Harry was previously in Afghanistan in 2008.
