Mets broadcaster gawks at female fan eating huge hot dog

- April 16th, 2014

Brent Musberger has company when it comes to creepy sports broadcaster moments.

Keith Hernandez, who calls New York Mets games for SNY, was caught ogling a female fan live on air during Tuesday night’s game between the Mets and Arizona Diamondbacks.

A camera captured a woman finishing off a large hot dog and a man eating one of Chase Field’s new 18-inch corn dogs — with a knife and fork — which led to the following exchange.

“I wasn’t talking about the hot dog,” sounds like a catchphrase.

If that wasn’t painful enough, the broadcast cut back to the pair and Hernandez continued.

“She looks fit. She must be a runner.”

It was a bit less, uh, charming than Brent Musberger drooling over Katherine Webb during last year’s college football championship game between Alabama and Notre Dame.

Holy crap, that’s baseball right there-couple of doughnuts talking about pure nonsense in the middle of the game.
It’s because baseball is so pathetically boring, they gotta talk about the food at the stadium-it’s not even in a sport & shouldn’t be lumped in with sports at all.

There should be a new classification called ‘Skills’ & things like baseball, darts & bowling would all fall into it.

‘Creepy sports broadcaster moment’?? It’s more like a male chauvinist pig, emphasis on the ‘pig.’ He’s an embarrassment.

Yea I`ll go with creepy Broadcaster moment, Don Orsillo and Jerry Remey do this all the time on Nesn New England Sports Network, however they usually find someone having issues eating the food or watching the game and it`s done with entertainment in mind and not sex or embarrassing the person. These are two of the greatest sports announcers active today. Much better than the golf announcers the Toronto Blue Jays have employed

Seriously? That’s it? Please, everyone here makes worse comments than that each day to our friends and co-workers. Anyone who say “Not me” is a liar and hypocrit. This world has become too PC. Lighten up people!

Really, I agree with Hobbes, I played it a couple times to look for a more offensive comment but I couldn’t find anything serious here. Are people just looking to judge everything nowadays, and be so high and mighty?

Well, she bought breast implants, wears a tight, low cut shirt… She’s looking for attention. Plain and simple. She got it. She shouldn’t complain (and as far as I know, she hasn’t), and neither should anyone else. He didn’t say anything dirty, sleazy, disgusting… give it a rest.

Not that bad. Come on now, are you trying to start something? Nowhere near Musberger.

Yeah, sorry… I’m not getting the controversy. I expected something a lot worse with a the ‘gawks at’
