Time-lapse video shows Oakland stadium going from baseball to football

Baseball’s Oakland Athletics and the Oakland Raiders of the NFL share the same stadium when it comes to playing home games. Unfortunately, it’s at the decrepit O.co Coliseum, which is in dire need of the wrecking ball with reports that say its internal plumbing system is backing up and sewage flowing from the taps a couple of times this season.

Aside from odorous plumbing issues, the A’s are playing playoff baseball while the Raiders are in the midst of their NFL season. With MLB scheduling a playoff game in Oakland on Saturday night, that forced the stadium crew to work overtime to ensure the Raiders game Sunday — which was moved from the afternoon to later that evening — was played.
