[UPDATE: Video has been released of Pacman being issued a citation by cops -- and it doesn't exactly paint him in the best light.]
Cincinnati Bengals defensive back Adam “Pacman” Jones is in trouble again.
I know, you’re stunned, right?
Believe it or not, the same NFLer who has been arrested for felony vandalism, marijuana possession, public intoxication and various charges stemming from a 2007 brawl and shooting at a Las Vegas strip club was cited for disorderly conduct early Monday morning.
After what happened to the Baltimore Ravens early Monday morning, its seems NFLers should steer clear of post-game parties for the next little while. At least until the dust settles.
In Pacman’s case, the former first-round pick is alleged to have made offensive comments while drunk, according to a USA Today report.
According to a police report, Ohio cops stopped a vehicle around 2:30 a.m. Monday in which Jones was a passenger in. A 33-year-old woman was charged with DUI.
But Jones apparently couldn’t keep his mouth shut. He was released and has a Friday court date on a misdemeanor charge.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell isn’t exactly fond of Pacman’s off-field issues, suspending him for the entire 2007 NFL season and part of 2008.
After giving him his 38th chance, the Bengals, who inked Pacman to a three-year deal in March, won’t be happy to hear of their cornerback’s recent run-in with the law.
Then again, the San Francisco 49ers allowed Aldon Smith to feature Sunday, mere days after being charged with DUI and possession of marijuana.
Good weekend for the NFL, eh?
