Hundreds of teens allegedly trash ex-NFLer Brian Holloway’s home

- September 18th, 2013

About 300 teenagers allegedly trashed the vacant home of former NFL offensive lineman Brian Holloway during a party over the Labour Day weekend, causing $20,000 in damages due to graffiti, broken windows, scuffed floors and urine-soaked carpets.

(That figure doesn’t include stolen items.)

What’s stupid: The teens apparently shared evidence of their exploits on Twitter and Facebook, and police are using the online posts to track down the vandals.

Even more stupid: After Holloway – now a motivational speaker – built a website naming alleged partygoers in the hopes they would turn their lives around, the 54-year-old has received threats.

“Yeah, I got some threats, you know, ‘we’re gonna get you,’ and ‘we know where your home is,’ and you know ‘houses do get firebombed,’ ” Holloway told NewsChannel 13.

Photos and tweets allegedly from the teens can be found on his site – HelpMeSave300.com.

The three-time Pro Bowler was in Florida when he got notice from his son Aug. 31. Word was spreading on Twitter that the Stephenson, N.Y., home had been broken into for a party where drugs and alcohol were being consumed, according to ABC affiliate News10.

Police were called to the scene where they allegedly found cars parked in the yard and a mass number of teens scrambling from the house and surrounding barns.

The 6-foot-8, 370-pounder, who played with the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Raiders from 1981-82 to 1987-88, bought the 200-acre property 30 years ago.
