MJ would beat LeBron, but maybe not Kobe, according to Jordan

In case you were wondering, Michael Jordan is still the greatest basketball player ever.

In fact, he was asked that very question in a roundabout way during a promotion shoot for NBA 2K14, a recently-released video game.

Asked who he’d challenge to a one-on-one game in a dream scenario, the former Chicago Bulls great had more than a few names at the ready.

“That list is very long,” Jordan said. “Start off with Jerry West, Elgin Baylor, Kobe Bryan in his prime, LeBron (James) in his prime, Dwyan Wade in his prime, Carmelo (Anthony).

“I don’t think I’d lose,” Jordan finished.

But after thinking about it, the 50-year-old, six-time NBA champ recanted.

“Other than Kobe Bryant,” Jordan said, hinting the L.A. Lakers  guard is the best in the game today. “(Kobe) steals all my moves.”

To review, not only is LeBron James not as good as Jordan, according to Jordan, but the greatest player of all-time thinks LeBron isn’t even No. 1 at the moment.

Over to you, King James …
