Tim Cahill scores fastest goal in MLS history

It took Australian international Tim Cahill just seven seconds to beat Houston Dynamo ‘keeper Tally Hall on Sunday at BBVA Compass Stadium.

The New York Red Bulls midfielder moved in front of Canadian international Dwayne De Rosario for the fastest goal in MLS history, a record De Rosario previously set in 2003 (11 seconds) while playing with the San Jose Earthquakes.
