Yandle makes diving save leading to game-winner

Keith Yandle did it all Saturday night.


The all-star defenceman for the Phoenix Coyotes notched the tying goal in the Phoenix Coyotes win over the Edmonton Oilers.

In Phoenix’s 5-4 victory, the American also managed three shots, a hit, and an assist in 25-plus minutes of ice time.

Not bad.

Yandle’s helper, which came on Oliver Ekman-Larsson’s game-winning marker, was the biproduct of a fine keep-in earlier in the third period shift.

As the GIF above shows, Yandle sacrificed his body like a baseball outfielder in order to knock down an Oilers clearing attempt.
