Ex-owner Spano offered former Islanders GM Milbury group sex

- October 23rd, 2013

Wednesday night, ESPN aired its latest 30 for 30 documentary, Big Shot, which centres around John Spano and his fraudulent purchase of the New York Islanders in 1996. The con man lied his way into buying the team and its cable rights before the NHL found out he didn’t have any money.

The doc also detailed the sour relationship between Spano and general manager/head coach Mike Milbury. Things got so bad between the two that Spano forced Milbury to give up his coaching duties to Rick Bowness.

One highlight, however, was Milbury, now an NBC Sports commentator, saying he once turned down an offer from Spano to participate in a group sex session with two women. Spano verfied the tale.

Try getting that image out of your head.

It couldn’t have been his poor coaching record that made Spano force Milbury out of that role.

With a pumpkin like Milbury’s he needs to take the lovin’ any way he can get it.

I get so tired of all these TMZ style reports masquerading as journalism

Since these two people are guys, I think you should just say two women, not two other women.

Ron, he accepted the offer, but Spanos rescinded it when Milbury offered to beat him off with a shoe.
