Kid has Xbox One taken away, but Red Wings, fans make it right

- April 15th, 2014

It happens at every game in every arena. Ticket holders leave their assigned seats to go sit in a better spot.

Sometimes it leads to awkward situations.

After a young Detroit Red Wings fan thought he won a brand new Xbox One in a prize giveaway at Joe Louis Arena, he had it taken away because he was in the wrong seat.

That’s when fans sitting beside him and the team did everything they could to make things right.

Clearly thinking the boy had been wronged, the franchise gave the boy and his family an experience money can’t buy.

Good on ya, Red Wings and fans.

Just goes to show you, when you pay for a seat THAT is the seat you have the rights to. if you decide to move up to better seats mid way through the game. your not entitled to anything the person holding the ticket stubs would be entitled to. But Good on Joe Louis Fans and Redwings players if you go back over the last 12 months MLB NHL players go out of their way the most to help fans or to donate their time to charity, and if that charity involves children there`s no telling how far these athletes will go to make their day for as long as they can be there with them.
