Leafs fans throw beer cans on ice after loss to Sabres

- November 30th, 2013

The level of frustration is high in Leafs Nation. After the club’s red-hot start, the Toronto Maple Leafs are 3-4-3 over their last 10 games and have lost their past four, including Friday’s overtime defeat at the hands of the last-place Buffalo Sabres.

The loss was enough to push some fans — presumably those dressed in Blue & White — who attended the game at First Niagara Center to throw beer cans onto the ice as the Sabres saluted the crowd.

“After a home win you get beer cans thrown at you,” Sabres forward Drew Stafford told reporters. “We’ll take it.”

Now, we’re not saying those who threw those liquid-filled metal objects are a true representation of all Leafs fans … but with the way things are going for the team these days, let’s say it won’t be surprising to see somebody break out the waffles Saturday night at the Air Canada Centre.

This was a false flag op, ie., Sabres fans dressed up as Leafs fans to make us look bad. ;-)
