Potentially the worst line change you’ll see this season … or ever

- May 4th, 2014

Too many men on the ice is a frustrating call in hockey, but understandable with line changes happening at such a fast pace.

But this line change just leaves you shaking your head in confusion.

Anyone else eager to lay a Benny Hill soundtrack over the debacle below?

It happened in an exhibition game between Finland and the Czech Republic, a tuneup for the World Hockey Championships on May 9.

Teuvo Teravainen, a Chicago Blackhawks prospect, was trying to hop the boards, when his teammate Tommi Huhtala opened the door on the bench, causing Teravainen to fall into the bench.

Somehow ex-Leafs energy guy Leo Komarov also gets involved and wiped out.

Just watch.

Let’s hope Finland shakes off the rust and sorts out its line changes before the tournament gets going.
