Olympic break shenanigans: SJ Sharks catch actual shark

In a lovely twist of irony, five members of the San Jose Sharks recently enjoyed a successful sea hunting day.

It appears they baited an actual shark, as well as other sea creatures, in the process.

Owen Nolan tweeted a photo Wednesday that shows Nolan, 42; Andrew Desjardin, 27; Joe Thornton, 34; Tommy Wingels, 25; and Raffi Torres, 32, in all their shark-catching glory.

Not a bad Olympic break haul, eh?

Nolan, an ex-Sharks captain, is a hunting professional of sorts. He hosts a show on Wild TV called Sportsman 360 TV on Wild TV. And, for good measure, named his boat the “Bill Collector”.

Apparently the crew captured more than just a single shark:
