Sidney Crosby is a lacrosse goalie in hockey gear

- April 4th, 2014

Turns out Sid isn’t just a one trick pony.

On top of his amazing wrestling take-down form, the guy can also stack a set of pads.

Crosby and the Penguins are playing the Minnesota Wild Saturday night, so it seems like Sid wanted to lax it up before the game.

‘The Kid’ borrowed some Penguins hockey gear and tried his best to stop some rubber during the Minnesota Swarm practice.

This isn’t the first time the Olympic Gold medalist has plied his trade between the pipes, as he played some keeper during his day with the Stanley Cup back in 2009.

That’s not lacrosse; it’s ball hockey. Get it straight, that’s our national sport. Lacrosse, that is.
