Some brilliant artist morphed ‘Simpsons’ characters into NHL logos

- June 4th, 2014

Since 1989, the brains behind The Simpsons have incorporated hockey – more specifically, the NHL – into their animated sitcom on a number of occasions.

The comedy has taken shots at staged fighting. They’ve also made cracks about the sport’s unpopularity south of the border.

The creators even kicked off an episode by having the disjointed family of five break into a donnybrook while donning hockey gear.

Genius, right?

Well, not as genius as what this graphic artist did with the characters from the award-winning show.

He morphed everyone from Bart to Millhouse to Groundskeeper Willie into NHL logos.
