WATCH: Horrific tackle breaks Israeli soccer player’s leg

- March 10th, 2014

Looks like Rafi Dahan is going to have to reschedule his wedding plans after the Israeli midfielder suffered the most horrific two-footed tackles in recent memory.

The incident happened as Maccabi Haifa drew 2-2 with Bnei Yehuda in the Israeli Premier League on Sunday.

Dahan picked up the ball in midfield, and Maccabi’s Rubén Rayos came in with both feet, breaking Dahan’s leg.

This one is very tough to watch.

Not only will Dahan be out for an extended period of time after suffering the fracture, but he was planning on getting married in three weeks and was forced to reschedule the wedding.

Dahan didn’t hold anything back when he spoke to the media about the tackle.

“Rayos tried to end my career … It was a crime,” he bluntly stated.

The horrendous tackle may spark memories of this equally gruesome (and idiotic) tackle from Colorado Rapids’ Brian Mullan on Seattle Sounders midfielder Steve Zakuani.
