Golfer Stewart Cink gives new meaning to tan line

Maybe Stewart Cink needs to keep his baseball cap on. Permanently.

A screen grab posted to Twitter Thursday evening of the American golfer at the PGA Tour’s Sony Open in sunny Honolulu sans chapeau gives new meaning to the term tan line.

 

Years of playing outdoors with a cap on has given Cink a ring around his noggin, which may be the most ridiculous place for a tan line on a human being. For Cink, it’s business on top and party below.

Surprisingly, it’s not a recent phenomenon. At the Players Championship in May 2012, the back of Cink’s head can be seen while he was shaking hands with Scotland’s Martin Laird.
