Paulina Gretzky stuns on the cover of Golf Digest

When we think of golf, we think of one person.

No, not Tiger Woods. He’s so yesteryear.

Lefty doesn’t do it for us, either.

When we think of golf, our thinking is in line with Golf Digest’s new cover model.

“Paulina, daughter of hockey great Wayne, fiancee of PGA Tour star Dustin Johnson, is a certified celebrity within the golf world, as much a subject of fascination at tournaments as the guy she’s there watching,” wrote magazine writer Sam Weinman.

“Now factor in that she’s an attractive, fit woman who — like many of our prospective readers — is fairly new to golf, and she seemed a natural cover subject for our second annual issue devoted to fitness.”

Yeah, we’re not buying it either.

Notice nothing on Golf Digest’s new cover has anything to do with fitness.

That said, Paulina looks great – and that’s likely all that matters in this clever marketing ploy.

It’s a big step up from when she cemented her celebrity status.

A few years back, Gretzky’s little girl chronicled her own wild child spell with the following selfies.

    It’s amazing what magnet exposed skin has to the male eye. As the viewer ship for golf digest is probably 70% men i am sure the sales will go through the roof. It’s sad that it lies on the back of good looking young females. Wouldn’t it be good to use the same approach to garner peace in the rest of the world. Just a thought.

    What do you mean there is nothing on the cover to do with fitness?? It says Golf Fit in huge letters up the right side.

    I have been a GD subscriber for many years; over the last 2, the publication lost its way. I used to look forward to it very month, I don’t anymore. Much in the same way The Golf Channel has becime a complete bore, so too has Golf Digest. TGC is in the business of selling sex with the gorgeous girls who are there for every show and broadcast. Their close alliance with GD allowed one if the girls to display all her “talents” in an article about the most beautiful women in golf. TGC has their version of Jersey Shore with “The Big Break” which is noting but a collasal bore. If I want to see semi clad beautiful girls, there are other magazine or television shows see. As a golf fanatic, I want to see and read much more about GOLF! Sadly, TBC and GD don’t have an Editor or writers who possess any creativity so they stoop to what is easy. Same really.
