Other than being a fondle bomber, who the heck is Rebecca Grant

- May 7th, 2014

In less than a second, Google spits out 133,000,000 million sites that contain the name Rebecca Grant.

To put that into context, when searching my own name, 350,000 sites dribble out of Google about or relating to – yes, I use that phrasing loosely – me, Kurtis Larson.

Since Grant’s fondle bomb (see below) went viral last week, the relatively unknown TV host-turned actress-turned pretty much everything has appeared on news outlets world-wide.

Heck, even Fox News – surprise, surprise – had her on for a segment.

The reason? Well, that’s obvious. You don’t need us to point out the 48-year-old’s assets – something she’s well aware of.

We did, however, decide to do a bit of digging to see who the heck this viral figure actually is, what she does and how she makes a living.

Here’s what we came up with:

Grant is willing to sell herself – particularly her lower back – for attention.

She dons a bikini in the shower, a look Maxim deemed worthy enough to snap recently.

Did we mention Maxim has all the time in the world for her? Apparently the Super Bowl champs do, too.

Grant, among other things, is a master socialite. One look at her Twitter account and you notice she’s constantly around celebrities. Because of that – and her association with sport – she’s becoming a celebrity herself.

Her MMA attire is, uh, new.

Her MMA attire also isn’t that different from her on-air attire — which doesn’t surprise us at all.

[WEDNESDAY'S UPDATE: Rebecca Grant is doing the media circuit]

Rebecca Grant, who you’ll remember melted down the Internet over the weekend, says she isn’t after fame.

She doesn’t want to be known as “the boob grabber,” either. As Grant told Fox 411 on Wednesday, she’s after one thing: a checkmark.

She’s hoping that incidentally pushing up her breasts will finally help her earn Twitter verification.

Yes, you read that right. She says her sudden popularity isn’t an overnight thing.

“I’ve been in sports for years,” Grant told Fox. “I ran out of hair spray that day. I was fixing my hair nonstop.”

You’re probably thinking what we’re thinking: What does that have to do with your chest?

Moving on, Grant’s yearning for Twitter verification can’t be understated.

“I give my passion and my heart to my tweets,” she told Fox. “Mr. Verify is not acknowledging me.”

The rest of the world certainly is, especially after the on-air gaffe she suffered around the midway point below.

Check out Grant’s most recent TV appearance.

[HERE'S WHERE IT ALL STARTED]

We don’t condone photo bomb fondling.

We do, however, make light of it.

Meet Rebecca Grant, a 48-year-old (yep, we can’t believe it either) model-turned-actress-turned-TV host who quite literally busted onto the scene over the weekend when cameras caught her, uh, “unintentionally” adjusting herself.

It was Game 7 between the L.A. Clippers and Golden State Warriors.

Things were getting intense. Even hot.

So hot the incident below led to a Twitter meltdown.

Grant, who has worked with Fox Sports and ESPN in the past, claims she had no clue she was on camera.

Funny enough, the guy making horrendous faces next to her certainly did.

You might also recognize Grant from her days as a “Juggy,” the scantily-clad women who jumped on trampolines at the close of every episode of the now defunct Man Show.

In closing, while cheap, this is the best piece of self-promotion we’ve seen.

We can’t be sure, but Grant appears to look right at the camera prior to the grab.

Wow! 48? She looks great! Good for her. Maybe she will get a new job as a result of this.

Really…this is not news in anyway, nor did she do anything other then something a normal person would do. Stop trying to pass this crap off a news. You people really have nothing better to report on. Go do some real journalism Kurtis

Vanessa (“V”) Stiviano, watch out! Donald’s already got his people trying to hook up with this one.

She’s only 45. Turns 46 in December. Still hot for her age though.

I agree with WHO CARES. It’s true that this is not necessarily a forum for hard news but even so, what a sad commentary on what passes for entertainment these days. I yearn for the times past when the National Enquirer was spoken of with derision simply for the reason that what it contained was vapid, useless information. Now, almost all of main stream media is like one giant toilet bowl. We are so dumbed down it is pathetic. We are doomed as a species.

I’ve watched that loop about a thousand times, I can’t take my eyes off it.

Wow… Is this what passes for news? The author of this article should be responsible for some form of reimbursement for of us that clicked on this link because we thought it would have been an interesting article. What a waste of our time.

Wow sports have gone downhill if this is what’s being reported. Attention grab.

During the “mini-meltdown” around 2:40-2:50 of the clip, who the heck is “Rob”, what was she telling him to stop doing, and what the heck did she already say already?

I know, who knows, who cares, but somehow for some reason, inquiring minds just don’t have enough things to worry about – either that or they have too much to worry about and just want ANY distraction.

Speaking of distractions, does anyone want to lay odds (maybe not the best way of wording that) on Donald Sterling dumping V for this one? :-)
