What’s that? Oh, just $1 million in cash in the Pacers’ locker room

- February 28th, 2014

We know what you’re thinking …

Why did those pompous Indiana Pacers spread out $1 million in cash in their locker room?

Actually, the league did as part of an initiative to teach the Eastern Conference club about financial planning.

They need it, too – as made obvious by your original thought process when you clicked on this story.

According to Sports Illustrated, 60% of NBA players declare bankruptcy within five years of retirement.

And they’re making a whole lot more than that measly $1 million on the above table.

What the hell is this even about? Basketball players are rich, basketball players have spending issues, 1 million dollars is a measly sum of money.

There’s not even a picture to see the money. This article is poop.
