Kris Westwood has been cycling for more than 30 years.

Part of that time was spent as a member of the Canadian national team. His racing and coaching career took him to four continents, Olympic, Pan Am and Commonwealth games and several world championships.

He still cycles for fun, fitness and to get to the Ottawa Sun, where he works as 24 Hours editor.

He also rides his motorbike when he can, and drives his car when he must.
