About the Motts

For many years the Motts, Carol and Paul, have been a fixture on Toronto Radio, entertaining, enlightening, and at times enraging (mostly Paul) audiences throughout Southern Ontario. Both Carol and Paul originally worked separately. Paul as news director at CJRN Radio in Niagara Falls during its hay days of talk, and Carol doing weather, talk, and hosting an interview program. They were put together as a husband and wife talk team and the rest is history. Standard Broadcasting wooed the team numerous times and finally the Motts moved their brand to CFRB Radio. After 16 successful years at CFRB The Motts were let go following the purchase of Standard Radio by Astral Media.

Born and raised in the radio world, Jessica has recently joined her parents Paul and Carol as Producer/Technical Operator of The Motts at themotts.ca She is also a blogger and on-air participant. An Honours graduate of the University of Guelph, Jessica majored in Criminal Justice and Public Policy, minored in Social Psychology, and holds a diploma from Humber in Private Investigation. Model/Actor Jessica is a proud Second City and Eleanor Fulcher graduate!

When not working on the show Jessica rides and trains horses on the family farm.
