Mary Bale is an idiot. Never heard of Mary Bale? Sure you have. She’s the British woman who thought it was a good idea to “trash” a cat.
A video of Mary’s misdeed went viral Tuesday, prompting cries for her head from around the globe. It shows Mary grabbing the friendly feline by the scruff of the neck, tossing it into a trash can, then closing the lid!

Fortunately, the poor, perplexed pussy wasn’t harmed, embracing freedom some 16 hours later when discovered by its’ owner.
Mary Bale is an idiot, not so much for the callous act she committed, but for the way she’s responded to the justified criticism.
With thousands gunning for the 50-year old bank employee, especially the “cat crazy” community, Mary has finally mustered an “I’m sorry.” But her initial response was… “I did it as a joke because I thought it would be funny. I never thought it would be trapped, I expected it to wiggle out.”
Is Mary really sorry, or just frightened? I believe it’s more the latter.
Nearly 20-thousand members of a Facebook Page are calling for her arrest, and some, more goofy than Mary… are threatening bodily harm and even death! Subsequently, two cops have been stationed outside her home!
Mary’s also getting attention on the popular bulletin board 4chan. There, those annoyed with Mary, can find her home address and phone number, her WORK address and number, her DAUGHTER’S phone number, and even GPS coordinates and Google Street View images of her house!
While we’ve yet to hear from Mary’s boss, the bank manager, I can only assume that he or she is less than thrilled with the situation… all the negative publicity, poor reflection on the company, that kind of thing.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this tabby trouble cost Mary her Job. Because…Mary Bale is an idiot.

My question is, someone obviously filmed her doing this so why didn’t that person let the cat out? Why was the cat left in there for 16 hours?
I can only assume, Sandra, that Mary’s actions were caught on an unmonitored remote camera. I would hate to think that someone was watching and did nothing.

She deserves a huge fine, one that will hurt and remind her of what she did, community service in an animal shelter and be banned for life from owning a pet. I am not a cat person, but I am a human being.
