Sex Scandal Benches Judge!

- September 5th, 2010

When the late, great comic, Henny Youngman used the line “Take my wife… please!” he was kidding… we assumed.  But when a Manitoba lawyer by the name of Jack King said it to a client, one Alex Chapman…  apparently he was Jackserious!

According to Mr. Chapman, Mr. King pressured him to have sex with his wife, Lori Douglas, who was then a lawyer, now a judge.  Chapman also claims King showed him erotic pictures of the now Madame Justice, and suggested he check her out on a website where black men (Chapman is black) hook up with white women.

Chapman says he was annoyed and refused the persistent offers, but kept King on to handle his divorce case.

When Chapman completed his dealings with King he filed a complaint with the Manitoba Law Society, which led to a $25,000 settlement.   In return, Chapman promised not to take legal action, to never to speak of the matter and agreed to destroy all material sent by King, including naughty photos (bondage, sex toys, oral sex, etc.) of the Judge.  Something Chapman admits he failed to do.  He’s now under a court order to return said material and not to share it with anyone else.

Lawyer King is now suing Chapman for violating the terms of the agreement… and Mr. Chapman is suing King, Her Honour and their former law firm for a whopping $67-million, crying harassment and emotional distress!

Judge Douglas, meanwhile, has been hauled off the bench and assigned to administrative duties pending an investigation by the Canadian Judicial Council.

So, what do we have here?  Two corrupt jurists and poor innocent victim… or just a couple of kinky legal beagles and a guy looking to score a bundle of cash?

Here’s how I see it.

When King said to Chapman, “wanna do my wife?”…  Mr. Chapman should have done what most would do…decline, fire the guy and blow the whistle!  If he was REALLY offended he would have walked away.

As for King and his bride on the bench… you be the judge.  While it doesn’t appear any laws were broken, I’m sure most would see the pimping and posing as actions unbecoming officers of the court.

Until we get that ruling from the CJC, on who did what or whom, when, where and why… this blog on the subject stands adjourned.

Maybe Mr. King is an Eskimo and was just trying to be hospitable. She’s no raving beauty but she isn’t $67 mil ugly either.
