Amazon.ca has announced Canada’s most romantic cities for the fourth year in a row, basing it’s list on measurements of Michael Buble CDs, relationship books and romantic comedy DVDs purchased per capita in cities with 80,000 residents or more.

Last year, Amazon named Kingston, Ont. as Canada’s most romantic city based on the above criteria. This year, Victoria, B.C. romanced its way back to the top of the list after winning hearts in 2011. Kingston is left brokenhearted, dropping to number four on this year’s list and falling behind Waterloo as the most romantic city in Ontario.

It should be noted that while the romantic music category had been previously based only on the sales of Buble CDs, other romantic CDs, including  ones by Dean Martin, Barry White and Luther Vandross, were used to measure amore in Canadian cities this year.
