Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose sat down for his first live television interview in more than 20 years last night.
The enigmatic singer sat down for a quick chat on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” where they yakked about everything from Axl’s less-than-stellar punctuality, to an evil Halloween tree that sits in his living room.
Of course, there was a real reason for the rocker to be there – he’s plugging his band’s upcoming 12-night residency at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas, which kicks off on – you guessed it - October 31.
He comes across, oddly enough, as fairly normal. He even did his best Santa Claus imitation by giving away a pair of tickets to one of his upcoming Vegas shows.

Nice to see Axl coming into the light a little. I’ve gone to one of GNR’s shows and what can I say? It’s great stuff and Axl seems to be making a change in persona, I dig it though. Still a good writer, and I look forward to new material in the future. However, nothing will ever beat the original Guns; we all know that.
