One Direction to sue over One Erection condoms?

- May 5th, 2014

Mega-popular boyband One Direction are finding it hard to ignore a new condom maker’s choice of a name.

According to U.K.’s Daily Star, the management team of the group are mulling a lawsuit after a U.S. company branded the prophylactics One Erection, and have specific references to 1D in their advertisement:

“Stay ‘UP ALL NIGHT’ with these FDA approved ONE ERECTION condoms. There is only one direction to go with these babies and that is UP! Great ice breaker at parties and bars,” the sales pitch says.

The packaging art is also clearly similar to the cover of the band’s debut album (see below).

The fivesome – comprised of Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Harry Styles — don’t seem to be that upset about it all. Sources told DS: “The boys heard about the condoms and found them hilarious. They even joked about buying a few packets for a laugh.”

Stay tuned to for any burgeoning developments on this story.

Someone needs to get something out of this horrible band, might as well be condoms and money.
