Foo Fighters kick off ‘Late Show’ residency with sizzling ‘War Pigs’ cover

Foo Fighters kicked off their week-long residency on The Late Show with David Letterman with a little Sabbath for the masses.

The Foos, with some help help from Zac Brown, ripped through a sizzling version of Black Sabbath’s classic track War Pigs, with frontman Dave Grohl sharing the vocal duties.

David Letterman couldn’t contain his praise for the Foos/Brown collaboration, saying: “Well there, you see, that’s what we’re talking about. Zac Brown. Black Sabbath. Foo Fighters. I don’t know, what do you kids want from me?”

Grohl and co. are promoting HBO mini-series Sonic Highways, which premieres on October 17, and the album of the same name, which arrives on November 10.

Mick Jagger delivers Top 10 List on ‘Late Show with Letterman’

Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger showed off his comedic chops by delivering his own personal Top 10 List on the “Late Show” last night.

Looking back at five decades of being in one of the biggest and most influential bands on the planet, he gamely goes over “Things, I, Mick Jagger, Have Learned After 50 Years In Rock and Roll.”

The list included jokes about trashing hotel rooms before 10 p.m., new albums no one wants, Phil Spector, Maroon 5 and reverse mortgages. Check it out below:
