Wellington Square is the municipal politics blog for the Expositor.

It’s also the address for the Corporation of the City of Brantford’s City Hall, where council and most committee meetings are held and your locally elected politicians make the decisions that affect a lot of what you do. This blog will provide space for opinion and analysis of what’s happening — or not happening — down at Wellington Square that supplements the news and opinion you read in the pages of the Expositor and on the website.

While focused on Brantford, it won’t be always about Brantford. When there’s something happening municipally within the Expositor’s coverage area that deserves a second look, you’ll see it here too.

The principal author of this blog is Hugo Rodrigues, but other people in the newsroom may contribute on occasion.
